The Junior Contract Facilitator at Bristol Myers Squibb plays a crucial role in managing the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring timely and compliant facilitation of contracts. This position requires effective coordination with various internal stakeholders and maintaining a high level of customer support. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of pharma contracting and compliance, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Contract Lifecycle Management: Manage and efficiently move contracts through the contract lifecycle: intake, template selection, drafting, redlining, using fallback language, negotiation, execution, and storage.
• Complex Contract Facilitation: Confidently facilitate, including negotiating, complex contract types in collaboration with internal stakeholders and CLS as required by BMS SOPs and escalation protocols.
• Coordination: Coordinate with functions and stakeholders across BMS to ensure timely, compliant, and effective facilitation of contracts.
• Pre-Contracting Awareness: Maintain awareness of pre-contracting steps, including underlying BMS policies and procedures related to the contracts and the contracted activities within scope.
• Customer Support: Provide white-glove customer support to business requesters.
• Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships across the matrix environment, building alignment and strong communication with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Performance Tracking: Track and report SLA, KPIs, and other team performance metrics.
• Compliance Adherence: Understand and follow BMS Standard Operating Procedures and escalation protocols.
• Risk Management: Identify and analyze relevant risk drivers and effective strategies to mitigate potential negative impacts.
• Continuous Learning: Maintain active knowledge of contracting policy, news, and events.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with legal and contract facilitation within the pharma/biotech/CRO industry preferred.
• Pharma Contracting Expertise: Working knowledge of pharma contracting, compliance, and policies relevant to the services within the role's remit.
• Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work well in a team.
• Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively and maintain a strong customer focus.
• Adaptability: Demonstrates a high level of adaptability in dealing with ambiguous and complex work environments, balancing multiple demands professionally.
• Process Mindset: Strong process-oriented mindset.
• Technology Proficiency: Working knowledge of Contract Lifecycle Management technology to automate and streamline processes is preferred. Familiarity with Icertis is ideal.
• Contract Knowledge: Working knowledge of contract terms and conditions, escalation protocols, redlining, fallback language, and using contract management systems.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree required; JD, paralegal certification, or other relevant formal legal contracts experience preferred.

GRS label and artwork coordination and facilitation

• Identify the strategy of China regulatory over labeling-related execution and coordinate it with cross-functions (Supply Chain, SASS MS&T, and commercial, etc.) to ensure one voice from the local regulatory team and for business communication efficiency as well.
• Facilitate regulatory colleague(s) to assess the artwork update’s impact on the product portfolio with stakeholders and form the mitigation scheme if any potential risk over the execution.
• Conduct artwork variation projects across functions including but not limited to request initiation, review online & offline, and circulation among the review team for the final-version approval.
• Update labeling-related systems and correspond to responsible contacts to keep them notified at each key point (HA approval, strategy change, priority request, etc.).
• Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the labeling shared with Patient Safety to submit to the ADR system and on the Company website by updating the latest labeling to Corporate Affairs contact.
• Serving as the point of contact of GRS China on labels/artwork.

Internal and external system maintenance and Information management

• RIM system maintenance to ensure data compliance.
• HA account management and maintenance including the electronic notifications/approval letters from the HA account to ensure timely distribution.
• GRS team registration data share drive and product database management and maintenance.
• Facilitate and coordinate the regulatory document retrieval with cross functions.
• GRS China SharePoint maintenance to increase user-friendliness and ensure data completeness.

Marketing Lead of Obexelimb Marketing is a core member of the Obexelimab brand team, responsible for developing launch strategies/ marketing strategies for both HCPs and patients and ensuring tactical execution to achieve brand objectives for Obexelimab.

Position Summary  
The Director of State Government Affairs (SGA) is accountable for shaping health care policy to benefit patient access, affordability, and innovation. This position is responsible for serving as the primary representative of BMS to the assigned state legislatures, state executive branch and associated state agencies to generate awareness and support for the BMS public policy agenda. This SGA Director role is a field-based opportunity with responsibility for the state of California. The position is based in California and applicants must reside in California.  Reporting to the regional lead, the Director will establish legislative and policy objectives in coordination with USPGA leadership to ensure alignment with overall departmental goals, objectives and key corporate functions.  

Key Responsibilities 

• Educate state policymakers about BMS’ business interests and advocate for legislative solutions focused on patient affordability and access. Assist on issues as they arise related to BMS facility sites in California. 

• Help further USPGAPC’s goals and explore opportunities for BMS to collaborate and advance implementation of policies to ensure patient access to medicines.  

• Maximize opportunities to establish business connectivity and collaborate with the communications, local government affairs and alliance teams to ensure seamless coordination internally and externally.  

• Assess impact of proposed state legislation and regulation on the businesses within the BMS portfolio and propose and guide lobbying strategies and potential financial impact. 

• Manage local budgets and coordinate campaign contributions and memberships.  

• Work to leverage BMS memberships in business and industry trade groups. 

• Partner closely with multiple cross-functional teams to analyze access and payment policies proposed by government and commercial payers, including rules and guidance from state Medicaid agencies, state legislatures, and other relevant stakeholders. 

• Develop targeted engagements with key stakeholders at state legislatures and with the Governor’s office and other key agencies. 

• Demonstrate commitment to ensuring patient access to innovative medicines and the importance of a thriving biopharmaceutical industry.  

Qualifications & Experience 

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in lobbying, advocacy or state government service focused on healthcare and/or Medi-Cal issues in state government or relevant pharmaceutical/private sector experience. 

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. 

• Excellent verbal, analytical, written, and interpersonal communication skills, particularly in interpreting and distilling complex information. 

• Excellent organizational and project management skills. 

• Ability to maintain good working relationships, internally and externally. 

• Ability to work in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment including managing multiple projects and working with team members in different time zones. 

• Experience working with a variety of stakeholders, including trade associations and large coalitions, and ability to proactively drive consensus. 

• Travel is required.  

The starting compensation fort his job is a range from $194,000--$244,000, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and the where the job is performed.

The Senior Specialist Benefit Operations is part of People Services and has responsibility for execution and administration of the Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) benefits and retirement program, including health & welfare, savings plans, and wellness.

Key Responsibilities

Solution architect for Intercompany Operations is responsible to support design and implementation of digital and process solutions for seamless delivery of products on a global scale and overseeing the development operation of centralized transportation and logistics hub including Intercompany physical and related financial flows, inventory ownership model and Supply Chain Order Management. BMS has a diverse occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:

Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility. For these roles, onsite presence is considered an essential job function and is critical to collaboration, innovation, productivity, and a positive Company culture. For field-based and remote-by-design roles the ability to physically travel to visit customers, patients or business partners and to attend meetings on behalf of BMS as directed is an essential job function.
