Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain reliable transformational solutions based on the identification, collection and evaluation of business requirements and functional specification.

Qualifications & Experience
- Requires advanced knowledge applicable to a wide range of work in data & analytics and thorough knowledge of other functions, typically gained through a university degree and 3+ years of experience.
- Demonstrates knowledge in data & analytics skillsets such as data provisioning, data mining, data visualization, programming and analytics capabilities using company approved technologies including AWS, Cloudera Data Platform (CDP), PostgreSQL or equivalent, Redshift, Python, Domino.
- Potential to lead initiatives related to implementation of new technologies.
- Can package information and data that tells a story and provides insight to a broader problem. Presents and explains the implications of key information on issues important to the business unit.

Required Knowledge and Skills
- Developing and deploying generative AI solutions.
- Programming in Python and hands-on experience with frameworks such as Pytorch or Tensorflow.
- Hands on experience with programming and analytics capabilities using company approved technologies including AWS, Cloudera Data Platform (CDP), PostgreSQL or equivalent, Redshift, Domino
- Experience in implementation/working of Cloud ESB (preferably MuleSoft)
- Experience in building, administering and consuming Restful API.
- Certifications in either of Informatica, MuleSoft, AWS developer is plus.
- Familiarity with a cloud environment (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Work with unstructured and semi-structured data.
- Ability to understand the needs of the business and commitment to deliver the best user experience and adoption

- 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in (i) Software Development Life Cycle methodologies including Agile and Waterfall, (ii) different testing standards and guidelines, (iii) Validated and regulated systems in Life Science domain, and (iv) Cloud and native applications.
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and communication skills.
Desirable Experience:
- Prior experience in life sciences, healthcare, or related industry.
- Prior experience with Veeva Vault Promomats
- Experience and familiarity with the commercial data within the Pharma industry
- Have a strong commitment to a career in technology with a passion for healthcare
- Experience using any of industry standard Agile tooling suites (e.g., Jira), and working knowledge in requirement grooming sessions, Sprint planning, Sprint Retrospective, tasks creation, and collaborating with stakeholders.

The European Regulatory Procedural Strategist (ERPS) team leads and manages the procedural and operational aspects of the European regulatory filings within the European Centralised Procedure, working in close collaboration with the European Regulatory Liaison group and the appropriate regional and global functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide EU centralised procedural management expertise & strategies, and lead procedural aspects for new MAA filings and Life Cycle Management (LCM), from (pre-) submissions to approvals, including selection of relevant procedures needed for submission
- Develop and amend the EU regulatory procedural timelines in alignment with the regulatory strategy and commercial objectives
- Ensure EU-specific regulatory requirements, including procedural and CMC related, for MAAs and LCM are met
- Plan and track activities related to regulatory submissions in the EU.
- Track and inform of regulatory submission dates, regulatory status, nature of changes, minor/significant product information changes within the assigned procedures (planned/ongoing) to all relevant parties.
- Co-lead communication of procedural milestones.
- Provide the dossier requirements for each submission and review full dossier for submission.
- Provide labeling support (competitive label analyses, SmPC and PL preparation, primary responsibility for drafting the PL, readability testing, participate in master mockup creation, etc.)
- Working together with the European Regulatory Liaison (ERL) in the development process of European regulatory and procedural strategy.
- Author regulatory documentation in Module 1, prepare/coordinate EU exploratory development documents (e.g. Scientific Advice, paediatric related, orphan), and lead review of quality variations
- Co-lead a team of regulatory professionals (ERT) with ERL
- Participate/ Lead reviews of new legislations and guidelines as appropriate, and author/review internal procedures and processes. Represent the group in inter-departmental (global) taskforces.
- Keep abreast of regulatory requirements and changes, competitive activities, changes in Governmental authorities and requirements to enhance the effectiveness of the function.
- Participate in development and execution of EU HA engagement plan and any related meetings in connection to the assigned project.
- Develop, track activities and procedural steps related to EU regulatory submissions, including databases, and inform of regulatory status, nature of changes to all relevant parties
Key Competency Requirements:
- Solid scientific background (PhD level desired)
- At least 3+ years of direct (or relevant) hands-on experience in European centralised procedures
- (in)direct management experience of major Centrally Authorised projects
- Great communication, organisation and attention-to-detail skills as well as in depth knowledge of EU Regulatory requirements are clear specificities and a “must” for the job.
- Good interpersonal skills, strong team spirit and ability to “connect and collaborate” are found essential for this particular job due to the high team collaboration and practice harmonisation expected from this group as well as to the extent of the cross-functional interactions involved in the daily work.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English,
- Ability to rapidly adapt to different issues and projects at one time,
- Good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and have an understanding of European Regulatory Procedures.

The Discovery Biotherapeutics team at BMS seeks to understand the structure and function of complex molecules such as bispecific antibodies, antibody drug conjugates and endogenous proteins in order to optimize their utility as therapeutic agents. We are seeking a collaborative bioinformatics and machine learning scientist to join the Computational Design and Predictive Modeling team in Cambridge, MA. You will develop novel bioinformatics and machine learning solutions and apply them to next-generation sequencing (NGS) data to discover and characterize biotherapeutics. You will partner with both computational and bench scientists to design experiments, analyze data, and implement computational models and bioinformatics pipelines. This role provides the opportunity to work with subject matter experts on cross-functional teams to solve challenging problems in how we discover and engineer the next generation of biotherapeutics.
Responsibilities
Develop computational models to analyze and characterize antibody repertoire sequencing data to deliver insights on antibody characteristics that improve lead identification.
Implement and deploy high-throughput and scalable bioinformatics pipelines that will expedite biologics discovery and design.
Communicate scientific findings to collaborators and other stakeholders, propose follow-up actions with measurable scientific outcomes.
Partner with project teams to develop bioinformatics & machine learning solutions for novel biotherapeutics.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree 8+ years of academic / industry experience

Preferred Qualifications
PhD in bioinformatics, computer science, engineering, statistics, or similar with 4+ years of relevant industry experience.

Strong experience with commonly used bioinformatics methods and toolkits.
Experience with state-of-the-art AI & ML methods applied to biological sequence data (DNA, protein)
Hands-on experience with public omics, protein and immune repertoire datasets such as PDB, OAS, SAbDab.
Strong experience with scientific programming languages (Python, R) and data science libraries.
Proven track record of contributing to and helping advance multi-disciplinary team projects.
Ability to independently conduct scientific research, develop hypotheses and deliver solutions.

The AD, US Scientific Learning Lead for Neuropsychiatry, Immunology is accountable for planning, developing, implementing, facilitating, and assessing ongoing scientific (and skills pull through) training for the BMS medical Neuropsychiatry portfolio as well as ensuring they are equipped to support priority clinical trials in the US. The role will be focused strongly on US FM and will be responsible for the coordination of scientific onboarding and continuing medical education. The US Scientific Learning Lead (sometimes referred to as US Medical Trainer) embodies our medical mission by supporting FM and HOM personnel in becoming the trusted partner of choice to a broad set of stakeholders, driving scientific exchange and collection of timely insights that can create measurable medical impact on patient outcomes, ultimately advancing science and enhancing patient access to our medicines.
This position is a field-based/remote-by-design role. The primary remit of the US Scientific Learning Lead is to have a thorough view of the training needs of the FM and HOM teams with an eye towards collaborating with WW Medical Scientific Learning and WW Commercialization Learning teams to share, co-create, and leverage existing content, where applicable. Create and/or adapt materials and tools for internal use that support US FM and HOM in the effective delivery of BMS product information and data to healthcare professionals
Collaborate with US FM management, US Medical Affairs, and WW Medical Scientific Learning colleagues to research and select outside speakers/consultants to deliver timely discussions/presentations on important TA-related medical topics as needed
Thoughtfully design training sessions using Adult Learning Principles to optimize learning; apply learnings from the Medical Trainer Academy

Organize, execute, and maintain training for US FM teams in support of BMS priority tiered clinical trials; collaborate with Global Field Medical Excellence, WW Scientific Learning Leads, US FM Leadership and R&D colleagues
Align with critical stakeholders (e.g., WW Medical Scientific Learning, WW Commercialization Learning, Medical Communications, US Medical Affairs, US FM Leadership, Global Field Medical Excellence, Congress Excellence, WW Medical Affairs (when applicable)) to ensure all educational events and resources are aligned to leadership, product, and therapeutic area strategy (e.g., onboarding, annual medical congresses, data updates, annual training needs assessments)
Support implementation of medical leadership initiatives for US FM and HOM medical teams
Develop and maintain contact with Thought Leaders (TLs) and Healthcare Providers (HCPs). Engage in meaningful scientific exchange to ensure patients have access to BMS medicines and ensure their safe and appropriate use through peer-to-per discussions aligned with WW and US medical strategies and needs expressed by external stakeholders (at the discretion of the US FM and HOM leadership teams)

Conducts business in accordance with Bristol Myers Squibb values
Completes all assigned SOPs and training within designated timeframe and adheres to job-specific SOPs, WPs, and Guidance Documents
Coordinate and align with commercialization matrix partners (e.g., marketing, commercial sales training)
Manages vendors and budgets related to book of work; complies with all procurement SOPs for submitting SOWs and acquiring POs
Demonstrates flexibility during times of competing priorities
Manages and maintains training materials, strategic plans, etc. using BMS platforms
Attend live, as needed, business critical FM meetings inclusive of major US congresses
Participates in training of new team hires as appropriate
Participates in on-the-job training programs to enhance professional growth
Qualifications & Experience
Advanced degree required: MD, DO, PharmD, DNP, PhD, or MSN strongly preferred
5+ years TA experience
3+ years pharmaceutical / biotech experience as a field MSL or similar field-based position with a proven track record of success
Experience and strong skills in public presentation
Exceptional organizational and planning skills
Ability to effectively interact cross-functionally and across geographies, as needed
Ability to assess workload and prioritize projects under tight deadlines
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build and maintain internal and external partnerships
Knowledge and demonstrated application of adult learning principles and design of effective learning solutions
Flexible, with positive attitude; highly motivated self-starter willing to work in an environment where individual initiative, accountability to the team, and professional maturity
High level of personal commitment and results-orientation
Ability to manage and coordinate complex projects with minimal direction
The starting compensation for this job is a range from $141- - $178,000, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).
The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and the geographic location where work is performed.
Final, individual compensation is decided commensurate with demonstrated experience.
