Scientist – Biophysical Mass Spectrometry
Lead Discovery & Optimization (LDO) is a dynamic organization that supports the entirety of drug discovery (from lead identification to clinical candidate delivery) at Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS). We employ state of the art technologies, complemented by deep subject matter expertise and broad scientific knowledge, to deliver innovative and comprehensive preclinical in vitro datasets to support our drug discovery pipeline in disease areas such as cell therapy, oncology, immunology, fibrosis, neuroscience, and cardiovascular diseases.
We are seeking a Scientist for the LDO ADME/MS (absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion/mass spectrometry) group located in Princeton, NJ. This individual will use various mass spectrometric technologies to perform high-throughput biophysical experiments such as affinity selection mass spectrometry (ASMS) for hit identification and triaging, and label-free binding affinity determination by mass spectrometry. This individual will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the BMS Research portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge in bioanalysis, biochemistry, biophysics and hands-on experience in automation, liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry. Self-motivation, scientific curiosity, attention to details, and strong communication and problem-solving skills are required. This is a hands-on, laboratory-based position.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of biophysical mass spectrometry experimentation, including assay incubation, 2D liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry analysis, data processing, review, and publication.
- Operate and troubleshoot automated liquid handling, multiplexed liquid chromatography, and mass spectrometry instrumentation.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts in assay evolution, new assay design, technology evaluation/ implementation and process optimization.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree 5+ years of academic / industry experience or Master's Degree 3+ years of academic / industry experience or PhD No experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in bioanalysis, biochemistry, biophysics or a related field with 0-2 years of relevant research or industry experience.
- Strong background in bioanalysis, biochemistry, biophysics or protein science is a must, and hands-on experience in biophysical characterization with mass spectrometry and other techniques is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with others working in a matrix team environment are required.
- Proficiency in general computer software, as well as vendor-specific instrument control and data analysis tools is required.
- A working knowledge of allied disciplines such as medicinal chemistry, lab automation, high throughput screening, data visualization and AI/ML model building is helpful.

The patent agent will work closely with the chemistry department and wider R&D team managing day to day patent activities.
Job Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
·Draft clear, concise, and comprehensive invention disclosures based on interviews, technical data, and your scientific understanding.
·Prepare high-quality provisional and non-provisional patent applications that meet USPTO requirements, accurately capturing the invention and its potential claims.
·Put together experimental details and characterization data for inclusion in provisional applications compiled from both internal and CRO chemistry.
·Conduct initial patentability assessments to identify potentially patentable aspects of inventions.
·Assist with drafting patentability, freedom to operate (FTO), and landscape analyses.
·Stay up-to-date on relevant patent laws and regulations, particularly those related to provisional patent applications and radionuclide conjugates.
·Maintain a well-organized system for tracking invention disclosures and provisional applications.
·Work with outside counsel to effectively manage filings and deadlines.
Education and Experience
BS in a life science discipline (e.g.chemistry). An advanced degree in chemistry is preferred.
2-5 years of experience in patent prosecution, patent research, or a related field.
Experience assisting with drafting patentability, FTO, and landscape opinions.
Experience drafting invention disclosures or provisional patent applications, particularly those covering radionuclide conjugates.
Skills and Qualifications
Strong foundation in synthetic organic chemistry, including Sci-Finder and ChemDraw.
Strong understanding of intellectual property concepts and the patent application process.
Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear and concise legal language.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Collaborative and team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
Familiarity with USPTO procedures and requirements related to radionuclide conjugates.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed.

Position: Manager, Tax Operations
Location: Lawrenceville, New Jersey
Position Summary
As a Manager, Tax Operations, you will provide support to the US Tax Team for income tax provisions under ASC 740-10 for projection cycles, quarterly and annual reporting on a GAAP and Non-GAAP basis, assist with Federal Tax Return compliance support, manage a variety of special tax projects, perform tax technical research, monitor legislation and coordinate support for audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and assistance with GAAP and Non-GAAP effective tax rate (ETR) calculations, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Preparation, review and approval of assigned US entities’ income tax provisions under ASC 740-10 for projection cycles, quarterly actuals and annual reporting.
- Validation of worldwide tax rates, providing analysis, support and documentation for rate drivers.
- Responsible for calculation, analysis, modeling, documentation and coordination with US Tax Team for all US Tax impacts for projection cycles, quarterly actuals, cash taxes and tax compliance for various tax adjustments including, but not limited to, Sec 174 costs, depreciation and amortization, compensation, revenue and inventory adjustments, various accruals, etc.
- Responsible for the preparation of US Research & Development and Orphan Drug credits which involves coordination and collaboration with internal stakeholders, outside consultants and our Tax Compliance Team.
- Prepare, model, and reconcile cash tax forecasts, payments and tax accounts.
- Provide assistance with US tax return compliance process, including liaison with external consultants, organize and gather source information, and tax software administration.
- Prepare and provide support for the analysis and accounting of the US return to provision (RTP) process and adjustments, including variance analysis and the preparation of an executive summary of differences and effective tax rate impacts.
- Support acquisition accounting and integration of acquired businesses, internal reorganizations, divestitures, and oversee accounting and tracking of collaboration agreements and joint ventures.
- Identify opportunities, provide support and assistance with tax technology strategic imperatives to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to identification, recommendation and integration of tax technology implementations, automation, data wrangling, and analytics to continuously enhance processes and stakeholder value.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; preferably with a Masters of Tax and/or CPA license.
- 5+ years of US income tax provision, compliance, and tax accounting experience with a large multinational organization and preferably 2+ years of public accounting experience working in a complex manufacturing environment, preferable in the pharmaceutical industry.
- In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles, including GAAP and Non-GAAP accounting, legal entity forecasting and accounting.
- Solid technology background with knowledge of OneSource Provision (knowledge of TaxStream is very beneficial), SharePoint, Excel along with other Microsoft Office products, SAP, and preferable experience with intelligent automation such as Alteryx, RPA, Power BI and Tableau.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

BMS is seeking a Associate Director, Regional Procurement Lead for its multi-product Cell-Therapy manufacturing facility in Summit, NJ. Reporting to the Director, Cell-Therapy Internal Operational Lead, this role will oversee sourcing for local/regional direct bio process materials, indirect materials, capital equipment, and related services. The position requires strong alignment with the Cell-Therapy manufacturing network strategy, close partnership with the site management team, and engagement with GPS sites to ensure optimal value for the local site and BMS overall.
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Direct Material Supply Management: Ensure continuity of direct material supply for cGMP manufacturing operations by managing suppliers and engaging with site stakeholders and global support teams.
Strategic Procurement Role: Focus on strategic value capture at the site level, including spend segmentation, risk identification, and savings opportunities through supplier re-negotiation.
Value Capture and Reporting: Ensure value capture visibility through Sievo, participating in bi-weekly update sessions to report to leadership.
Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain recurring discussions with the Site GM and lead Supplier Relationship Management programs in alignment with Category Leads and Site Stakeholder teams.
Performance Metrics: Achieve and exceed metrics such as value beyond savings, purchase price variance (PPV), receipt to promise (RTP), inventory, and invoicing compliance.
Standardization and Cost Savings: Lead efforts for standardization of raw materials and consumables, driving cost savings through alternate/secondary sourcing.
Sub-Category and Capital Strategy: Develop and execute regional sub-category strategies and capital investment strategies, ensuring compliance and governance on major capital projects.
Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership to department personnel executing sourcing events and lead the annual budget process for site operations with a focus on locally sourced and indirect materials.
Audit and Risk Management: Support cGMP or Finance audit activities, escalate supply-related audit requests, and lead site-based risk assessments and business continuity processes.
Procure to Pay Transactions: Manage procure to pay transactions, enforce policies and internal controls, support end-users, and govern sourcing activities and approvals.
Contract Management: Oversee contract management, creation of legal documents, and support LOIs, SOWs, and MSAs across the site and network.
Team Development: Recruit, manage, and develop a team of procurement operations personnel, creating a strategic vision to achieve best-in-class site objectives for supply and services.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Minimum education of a B.S./B.A. in science, engineering, or business.
Minimum of seven (7) years of multi-disciplined procurement experience. Preferred experience in a technical, operational, or business role within the relevant industry.
Prior cGMP experience in biopharmaceuticals, pharmaceuticals, and/or medical device industry is highly preferred.
Proficiency with SAP and/or other ERP systems is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Strong customer service orientation with excellent analytic, interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated independence with minimal supervision from senior management.

Summary:

- Identify and run experiments with capabilities team to pilot/scale future digital marketing capabilities.
- Leads planning across multiple internal business partners including medical, commercial, access, and engaging with multiple customers including HCP and consumer.
- Contributes to continuous improvement of engagement, channel, content and analytic planning frameworks and tactical templates to use across this and other engagement teams.
- Leads and coordinates regular insights and metrics discussions with business partners in partnership with the BI&A team to ensure frequent optimization of the engagement, content and channel plans.
- Serves as a dedicated digital engagement lead for a regional or local business partner (e.g., brand and/or medical/R&D), their associated digital/media agencies and leads cross-functional matrix teams to enable seamless execution of business strategy and lead execution of digital campaigns/tactics.
- Collaborates with business leads and WCE counterparts (e.g., sales, meetings partners) on channel-agnostic campaign/tactic strategy and provides input on the development of functional plans.
- Collaborates with BI&A to ensure KPI identification, measurement plans and optimization of digital programs.
- Coordinates with Capabilities, Content Agency, and rest of WCE teams on the following activities:
- Prioritization of campaigns and tactics
- Definition of campaign/tactic success (e.g. development of metrics plan)
- Evaluation and optimization of tactics
- Driving tactical plan to accomplish KPI and business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years' experience in digital / omnichannel marketing leadership, including marketing/customer engagement strategy, brand/business planning, analytics, multi-channel (digital and non-digital) marketing operations and campaign/tactic execution/management.
- Neuroscience therapeutic area experience highly preferred.

Position Summary:
The Associate Director, Regional Marketing, is a senior in-market position within the US commercial organization that will focus on commercial KOL engagement to gain insights into regional opportunities and provide a bridge between regional markets and headquarters, speaker development and refresher training for disease state (and product, when appropriate), and will support the execution of approved disease state education, promotional and patient programs. Managers of Statistical programming provide comprehensive programming expertise to clinical project teams to support the development, regulatory approval and market acceptance of Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) products. The Cell Therapy Digital Platform (CTDP) is a collection of heavily integrated processes and IT systems to enable the vein-to-vein patient treatment process.
Job Description:
Patient Operations Functional Analyst will be responsible to drive requirements analysis for technical capabilities required by the Global Patient Operations Team (GPO). The team is looking for a functional Analyst with prominent experience on Salesforce technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work collaboratively with POSI team to manage relationships and expectations.
- Drive end to end documentation (planning to release) of user stories for GPS releases in Jira
- Collaborate regularly with a diverse range of internal teams including scheduling, partners, product management and provide guidance on documenting business requirements in user stories.
- Functional verification of user stories before passing it to the testing team.
- Collaborate with BMS Hyderabad team on user stories, requirements clarification, in-sprint refinement, sprint demos.
- Collaborate with technical and integration team on integration mapping.
- Salesforce and Integration defect triage and helping technical resources on defect management.
- Participate in grooming sessions with business and IT teams.
- Participate in requirements and design sessions with cross functional teams as a Global Patient Services (GPS)functional SME.
- Work closely with the (GPS) technical architect and delivery team to hand off requirements and provide explanation as needed
- Collaborate with the HYD BMS Salesforce development team to provide explanation on requirements as needed.
- Provide cross functional business and functional leadership for GPS application and participate in the IT intake process steps
- SME for GPS functionality and provide guidance on how to shape future roadmap.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Requires knowledge applicable to a wide range of work in own function and thorough knowledge of other functions, typically gained through a university degree and 3-5 years of experience. Demonstrates mastery in area of specialization/responsibility.
- Work experience in Salesforce applications as a business analyst or technical analyst is preferred.
- Ability to work in a global environment and work with co-workers in different time-zones
- Ability to work in a matrix organization and drive decision making
- Ability to manage business process analysis and improvement, including benefit estimation and post-implementation metrics
- Creates business cases to support funding approvals, including the level of effort/cost required to implement solutions/services, and facilitate risk assessments
- Working knowledge of Jira to maintain and manage user stories
- Product management and stakeholder management experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in an agile delivery environment.
- Proven ability to lead initiatives related to continuous improvement.
- Ability to influence stakeholders across a variety of different business organizations
- Proven ability to package information and data that tells a story and provides insight to a broader problem. Presents and explains the implications of key information on issues important to the business unit.
- Frequently interacts with other internal and external stakeholders regarding operational decisions and business requirements. Analyzes the impact of conclusions and actions on people, technology, structure, and workflow across teams.
- Demonstrates a focus on improving processes, structures, and knowledge within the team.
- Stays current with emerging trends in specialty area. Identifies future state and dimensions of change (org, tech, cultural) to achieve. Creates transition plans for new processes, implements and monitor’s change. Ensures alignment of plans with the enterprise's strategic vision and translates the vision to connect to team's work.
- Proactive and able to identify improvements to address reoccurring issues, close monitoring gaps and automate/reduce manual processes.
- Commitment and passion to identify true root causes and communicate effectively cross-functionally.
- Experience working within a GxP environment preferred.
Certifications
- Salesforce Certified Administrator or Advanced Administrator certification(s) a plus.
- Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant certification(s) a plus.
