The IT Business Partnering, Australia & New Zealand role is accountable for the effective delivery of IT capabilities and services that have the greatest impact with enabling business growth in the market.
This role will partner with various business teams to define and drive digital capabilities to meet their specific strategic needs. This position will accelerate the digitisation of business through technology innovation, ensuring that their information capabilities and operations are reliable, accessible, secure, and enable them to become competitively differentiated in a rapidly changing, complex scientific landscape and external environment.
The role requires the development of strong partnerships with the business teams in the market to drive a consistent adoption of digital capabilities and innovation opportunities.
Responsibilities
Provide domain leadership:
·Supports the IT/Digital strategy: Driving the development of realistic and actionable multi-year strategic digital capability roadmaps, informed, and prioritised by business and IT in an enterprise context. Prioritises the portfolio appropriately and supports the portfolio budget management.
Develops compelling business cases: Leads the prioritisation and development of strong and clear business cases for digital capability investments in support of the roadmap and aligned with the platform strategy. Defines, measures, and achieves business outcomes for the highest value (at the lowest cost) digital capabilities
Designs Solutions: Supports the design of specific solutions to various business problems. Design, describe, and manage the solution most appropriate for the risks and opportunities involved.
Brings an external view: Actively maintains awareness of external drivers in the business domain and relevant technology trends and brings innovative ideas.
Manages Risks: Continuously monitors external and internal environments for risks and ensure business continuity in the event of a crisis.
Provide leadership:
Builds strong partnerships with business stakeholders: Is viewed by business leaders as an effective partner who plans and delivers digital capabilities, safeguards their digital assets, and supports their strategic goals.
Recognised as a thought leader and trusted advisor: Influences the strategic thinking of business leaders and helps business leaders to include future digital capabilities into their planning.
Owns the relationship: Has effective working relationships with all relevant business teams, is involved with key business activities and forums, is responsible for building and managing effective business partnership at all levels during project execution, and takes accountability for delivering the value proposition of IT.
Drives change: Ensures effective planning, execution, and communication of business change management to support digital capability investments, including business process changes to achieve maximum value from investments. Accountable for ensuring an effective change management plan is in place for their individual projects.

Demonstrates Matrix leadership by ensuring that all IT functions are successful in their delivery of services to the business.
Empowers Shared IT teams: Understands IT business partner accountabilities throughout the portfolio lifecycle and builds empowered and trusting partnerships with shared IT team members at all levels.
Shows good judgement in communication: Communicates successes and issues accurately, urgently, and to the right audience, and takes accountability for ensuring effective management of expectations with business leaders.
Boldly acts with urgency: Shows courage, tenacity, and respect to provoke uncomfortable conversations in order to remove roadblocks to value delivery.
Advocate for operational excellence: Be an escalation point in case of deviations in IT services. Identify opportunities for improvement and provide constructive feedback to service managers. Educate users on operating procedures.
Experience and competencies
Required:
Strong business knowledge with strong professional presence with business stakeholders.
Ability to demonstrate strategic planning and implementation of digital capabilities for business stakeholders.
Experience with governance operations and demonstrated ability to evaluate the need to respond to the customer in a timely fashion with the strategic investments being made at the enterprise level.
Experience with information technology and management, project and portfolio assessment, planning, systems development, and business case development.
Ability to manage business process analysis and improvement including benefit estimation and post implementation metrics.

Provides engineering subject matter expert and system owner support for cell therapy manufacturing plant and utility equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides engineering support required for specific assigned utility infrastructure, systems and equipment.
Develops of user requirements for new equipment and modifications to existing equipment and systems from concept through supporting installation with the collaboration of stakeholders.
Support and coordinate site startup and commissioning and support validation activities for specified equipment.
During operations and capital projects the Engineer will work with stakeholders including Third Party Integrator, Manufacturing, Quality, and EHS organizations providing support of equipment and systems including on-the-floor troubleshooting of equipment.
During construction of future projects, responsibilities will include developing scope and justification, design reviews, preparation of specifications, execution and evaluation of factory acceptance tests for utility equipment, assessment of spare part requirements, generation of PM Job Plans, Operational Work Instructions, and walk down of equipment systems prior to handover. Sign off of as built drawings and review of TOP.
Provides technical expertise as Subject Matter Expert for assigned equipment ensuring continued compliance to regulatory, company and site policy and procedure.
Addresses equipment issues identified by stakeholder; assesses production needs and opportunities; coordination with internal groups and outside contractors; generates specifications for the procurement of equipment and Instrumentation; installation modification of equipment and systems, reduces equipment downtime, develops and supports the implementation of capital project scopes, performs project management for non-capital modification projects for assigned equipment, supports compliance efforts related to Deviations, CAPA, change management and contamination investigations.
Typical daily activities are within the office environment and within the Cell Therapy Facility manufacturing and mechanical/utility spaces and the other campus facilities as required. Engineers will be responsible for working within the manufacturing facility where hazardous chemicals may be present and PPE will be required at times.
Qualifications & Experience:
Knowledge of plant engineering and science generally attained through studies resulting in a B.S., in engineering (Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical preferred), a related discipline, or its equivalent. Additional course work, certifications, and license(s) are desirable.
A minimum of 6 years relevant experience in biopharmaceutical industry or its equivalent including experience with plant utilities and auxiliary systems (HVAC, Power Infrastructure 13.8KVA, Electrical Distribution, Plant Steam, Fire Alarm/Suppression, Storm water management, Compressed Air, Chilled Glycol, Cooling towers, Liquid Nitrogen, Controlled Temperature Units).
The individual should have the ability to manage and organize multiple complex technical projects and familiarity with the manufacturing operations of large scale production facilities as well as GMP experience.
Experience with 3D model plant design software desirable.
Candidates must be effective in both a team environment and an individual contributor role.
Knowledgeable in engineering principles related industrial building utilities troubleshooting.
The job requires technical knowledge and the candidate should have the ability to proactively troubleshoot and possess the desire to continue to develop technically and professionally.
This position requires a solid working relationship with internal Manufacturing, Tech Services, and Quality departments.
This position also requires a solid working relationship with external equipment vendors and Third Party Facilities management company.
Ability to work extended hours or a modified work schedule as required for coverage of start up activities for future projects and support of ongoing 24/7 Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing.

Qualifications and Experience we look for in a candidate:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, or other related industry experience.
Prior experience as a District Business Manager in Pharmaceutical Sales, or equivalent experience in leading and managing high performing teams is required.
Hematology experience is strongly preferred, including an understanding of Hematology reimbursement, access and distribution environment.
Proven track record of inspiring and leading teams to meet or exceed expectations and goals.
Proven successful track record of selecting, developing and retaining talented individuals.
Previous experience that has required use of analytical skills, selling skills, and development of strong business acumen, and working knowledge of the market access environment.
As this position requires operation of a Company-provided vehicle, offers of employment are contingent upon the candidate meeting the requirements of “Qualified Driver,” as determined by the Company in its sole discretion, including but not limited to the following: 1) at least 21 years of age; 2) a driver’s license in good standing issued by your state of residence; and, 3) a driving risk level deemed acceptable by the Company.
The starting compensation for this job is a range from $145,000-$195,000, plus incentive cash and stock
opportunities (based on eligibility).
The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed.

Position Summary
The TAS is a critical role in our unique customer model to execute the BMS aspiration to be the BioPharma that delivers the most impactful engagement with Health Care Providers (HCPs), driving adoption of new and existing medicines for appropriate patients.
The primary role of the TAS is to drive demand for BMS medicines within their portfolio for the appropriate patients. To meet the HCPs expectations, the TAS engages them with a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper scientific dialogue on and consistent with label, leveraging new ways of working and CE^3.
The role builds and maintains strong professional credibility with regional thought leaders (RTLs) and community-based physicians/HCPs in private practice, medical groups practices, office staff, and other stakeholders in the patient care continuum as their primary point of contact.
The TAS liaises with other BMS functions as needed to deliver an overall higher Customer Experience (Cx) – by meeting HCP needs in a timely and scientific manner. This role will prioritize the safe and appropriate use of BMS products while also focusing on overall business results and performance objectives while exemplifying BMS values.
The TAS role is field-based. A TAS is anticipated to spend 100% of their time in the field with external customers.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Promotion
Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory or region to meet or exceed assigned sales targets in a compliant manner.
Creates demand for BMS medicines by articulating in a balanced manner the clinical and scientific rationale for use of products in appropriate patients.
Engages with and continuously maintains/grows a high level of scientific expertise in all assigned products and therapeutic areas.
Prepares and successfully implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
Proactively uses available tools such as CE^3 (once implemented) to derive insights and to dynamically inform call plans. Provides feedback on experience using these tools to leadership to enable continuous improvement.
Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue
Demonstrates scientific expertise and passion in using approved scientific resources and publications to present information to HCPs and ensures medical accuracy.
- Conducts in-office presentations (e.g., lunch and learns) and discusses product-related scientific information with HCPs that is consistent with label.
Organizes external speaker programs, selecting speakers from list approved by Speakers Bureau and facilitating scheduling and logistics.
Maintains a high level of working expertise on emerging data for approved indications.
Engages real-time medical support through Medical on Call to reactively answer unsolicited questions and complex technical inquiries.
Cross-functional collaboration
Proactively collaborates with other field teams to ensure the best Customer Experience (Cx) for HCPs.
Gathers and shares relevant insights and information internally with the appropriate stakeholders to enable BMS to better serve its customers.
Complies with all laws, regulations, and policies that govern the conduct of BMS.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Advanced scientific degree and/or preferred 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience as healthcare sales / MSL / HCP / nurse.
Ability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately and convincingly to help physicians best serve their patients.
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining strong credibility with key customers, office staff, and others in the customer influence network via a customer-centric mindset and desire to create positive and differentiated Customer Experience (Cx).
Experience in Oncology required.
Demonstrated strong capability in account management skill sets, superior selling competencies, and proven sales performance track record of meeting or exceeding goals.

The Senior Manager of RWE Biostatistics is a member of cross-functional teams and contributes to study design, protocol/SAP development, analysis planning, interpretation of results, and preparation of regulatory submissions. Position Summary
The TAS is a critical role in our unique customer model to execute the BMS aspiration to be the BioPharma that delivers the most impactful engagement with Health Care Providers (HCPs), driving adoption of new and existing medicines for appropriate patients.

As part of the Discovery Biotherapeutics efforts at BMS, the Functional Assays team plays a key role in discovering and characterizing a first- and best-in-class Biotherapeutics pipeline. The Scientist position is located in San Diego (CA), working with a cross-functional matrixed team across other BMS sites. The position entails the utilization of broad in vitro cellular techniques to accelerate primary antibody screen workflow execution and downstream mechanistic characterization of a wide range of biotherapeutic drug candidates, including antibody drug conjugates, multi-specific antibodies and other formats. Expertise in designing and validating primary selection assays as well as downstream functional assays will be vital to build a full characterization of lead biologic candidates. Experience in automation or high-throughput screening assay development, antibody function, immunological and effector activity screening will be highly valued. The successful candidate is expected to be self-motivated, energetic, and detail oriented. The candidate should be able to thrive in a highly dynamic, supportive, yet independently thinking culture.
Responsibilities
- With minimum supervision, manage antibody/binder discovery processes – develop fit-for-purpose cellular assays and provide characterization support for lead molecules
- Position high-throughput, semi-automated and automated systems to enable rapid cellular functional screening of complex antibody candidates
- Proficiency in programming skills including C# to enable automation processes such as high-throughput liquid handling

Position Summary
The Clinical Development Lead Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Cell Therapy sits within Clinical Development, which is a global organization dedicated to the effective design and execution of drug development. The Clinical Development Lead (Pediatrics) will serve as primary partner for asset development teams in shaping pediatrics strategy and development plans, consulting with other functional SMEs as needed. The Clinical Development Lead (Pediatrics) will ensure a cohesive pediatrics approach across hematology, oncology and cell therapy. The Clinical Development Lead (Pediatrics) is part of the Pediatrics Center of Excellence (CoE).
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Shapes the vision and growth strategy, in partnership with Development Program leads, for all oncology pediatric assets entering full development through the asset life-cycle for both BMS-sponsored development programs and for development projects with external collaborators
- Serves as dedicated point of reference on Pediatrics Development for development teams, study teams, and senior leadership
- Provides strategic advice to development teams based on the competitive landscape to support the regulatory acceptance of the pediatric plan, and reviews pediatrics outputs against the Pediatrics strategy and regulatory expectations
- Provide guidance on the adequate timing for Pediatric development based on EU / US regulatory requirement and Adult development.
- Participate in the pediatric kick off meeting, provide guidance on strategy and over the course of the development of the pediatric participate as needed.
- Review all the Pediatric regulatory documents (PIP, PSP, PPSR/WR) and pediatric protocols
- Provide scientific, regulatory, clinical and commercial Pediatrics insights to support the team in assessing business opportunities
- Engages in regular, two-way communication with Development Teams on evolving program risks, implications of changes in the competitive landscape, and progress toward key milestones
- Provides point of contact and supervision for clinical trial physicians working on across oncology asset teams in late development (dotted lines)
- Coordinates pediatric projects across oncology, including both BMS sponsored, as well as investigator sponsored research projects and trials, and compassionate use programs
- Educates and engages matrix team members around the Pediatrics vision
- Liaises with and provides point of contact for Development Program Leads in oncology early development
- Supports across portfolio activities in line with Clinical Excellence, including e.g. Protocol Review Committee, and Quality and Compliance leadership
- Ensures asset level pediatrics strategies are aligned with oncology and company Pediatrics strategy and vision
- Drives portfolio value through an understanding of the interdependencies between both adult and pediatric development plans and an ability to advise on strategic trade-offs
- Member of the Pediatrics CoE and primary report to PedCoE
- Creates tools and trainings to empower teams and drive consistency within and across Therapeutic Areas
- Drives initiatives to further the company Pediatrics strategy
- Collaborates with other members of the Pediatrics CoE to share best practices and enable standardization
- Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with external stakeholders (Opinion Leaders, Strategic Alliance Partners, Patient Advocacy Leaders, Health Authorities)
- Supports Investor Relations and Public Affairs in managing external BMS communications, as needed
Requirements:
- MD
- A minimum of 7 years in the pharmaceutical industry, Health Authorities and/or academic experience, with proven progression in relevant R&D roles and significant experience in related therapeutic area
- Extensive working knowledge in the drug development process, along with expertise in one or more of the relevant areas (e.g. clinical, regulatory, program management, project planning and management, medical)
- Experience navigating cross-functional teams (matrix) or complex organizations successfully
- Demonstrated ability to constructively influence peers and senior leaders across R&D
- Working knowledge of regulations in the Pharmaceutical industry (US and Global preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate across geographic and functional boundaries (e.g. early development, R&D, disease strategy teams, marketing, access, etc.) and building strong external relationships
- Ability to navigate through a complex and dynamic healthcare environment
- Abreast of scientific issues as they impact business development and strategic planning
- Success in situations requiring rigorous, analytical problem solving and the ability to determine scientific opportunity and commercial targets
- Broad understanding of domestic and international issues relative to the pharmaceutical industry

Position Summary
Managers of Statistical programming provide programming expertise to clinical project teams to support the development, regulatory approval and market acceptance of Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) products. This position is primarily responsible for the design, development and implementation of technical solutions for analyzing and reporting clinical data. Managers of Statistical Programming develop collaborative relationships and work effectively within Global Biometrics & Data Sciences (GBDS), with external vendors and members of cross-functional development teams.
Key Responsibilities
· Create SAS programs to generate derived analysis datasets and content for tables, listings, and figures; Perform programming validation to ensure quality of analysis datasets and programming outputs
· Provides programming support for project teams, including development of programming strategies, standards, specifications and programmed analysis
· Support the electronic submission preparation and review
· Reviews key planning documents (e.g., statistical analysis plan, data presentation plan, data review plan) to ensure alignment with development team objectives and clarity and completeness of programming assumptions and requirements; Assesses impact on programming activities
· Interacts with vendors regarding project standards, programming conventions, programming specifications and file transfers
· Provides leadership for ensuring quality of Global Biometric and Data Sciences (GBDS) deliverables by consistently applying standards and complying with regulatory requirements, guidance and corporate and departmental SOPs and work practices
· Identifies opportunities for increased efficiency and consistency within GBDS and our interactions with strategic vendors
· Support improvement initiatives
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, computer science or life sciences required.
· At least 3 years programming experience in industry recommended.
· For US positions: US military experience will be considered towards industry experience.
· Demonstrated proficiency in using SAS, R or other programming languages to produce derived analysis datasets and TFLs.
· Understanding of clinical data structure (e.g. CDISC standards) and relational database.
· Demonstrated skills in using software tools and applications, e.g., MS office, XML, Pinnacle 21.
· Demonstrated ability in the handling and processing of upstream data, e.g., multiple data forms, workflow, eDC, SDTM.
· Demonstrated ability in providing outputs to meet downstream requirements, e.g., ADaM, Data Definition Table, e-submission.
· Have good understanding of regulatory, industry, and technology standards and requirements.
· Have good knowledge of statistical terminology, clinical tests, medical terminology and protocol designs.
· Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with clinical team members.
Preferred Requirments:
• Minimum of 3 years clinical / statistical programming experience within pharmaceutical clinical development - Supporting regulatory filings (e.g. NDA, BLA, MAA)
• Knowledge of the drug development process, clinical trial methodology, statistics and familiarity with global regulatory requirements
• Experience in other software packages (e.g. R)
· Experience with the Linux operating system
