Position Summary

To deliver more innovative medicine to patients in Japan is mission for Bristol Myers Squibb Japan.  To achieve the mission, it is essential to evolve our commercial model to launch new brands successfully and engage customers efficiently under competition and complex market situation. 

The Commercialization Data Capabilities Manager role is accountable for planning, execution and operation of commercial solution system by bridging Japan key business needs to global/local IT teams to maintain and improve productivity and efficiency in commercial organization thru data capability and innovation.

This role is expected to strongly partner with Global/Local IT teams and cross-function teams under Commercialization Excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, execute and operate commercial solution systems; CSCAN, C-SCOR, VEEVA InterAct/Align/LINK, MR Portal, Bridge system (Master Data/ex-wholesaler Sales Data) to increase productivity and efficiency in both field and home office, in strong collaboration and partnership with global/local cross-function teams

Plan and execute on-going system maintenance and enhancement prioritizing key business needs with a high degree of understanding on company and brands strategies

  • Lead cross-functional discussion/alignment bridging local business needs to global/local IT with clear rationale

  • Prioritize and simplify filed report to fit strategical area/territory planning in collaboration with SFE/SPP

  • Accountable for timely and accurate master data design, maintenance and operation (product/price/customer/field-organization) by supervising out-source vendors

  • Accountable for Veeva operation and maintenance for segmentation and targeting in line with global Veeva global guidance, and training to field team

Serve as a subject matter of expert of commercialization data for CE3 development and deployment thru proactive input / feedback for CE3 development, deployment, maintenance and enhancement

Qualifications & Experience

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical data and systems (JD-NET/NHI, ENCISE, IQVIA, ULTMARC, VEEVA, etc.)

  • Basic knowledge of Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) of pharmaceutical

  • Principals of marketing and strategy

  • Knowledge about healthcare system and customers in Japan

  • Knowledge of project management

  • Knowledge about commercial and medical teams

Skill/Competency

  • High implementation of BMS behavior / Speed, Passion, Innovation and accountability with sense of compliance

  • Logical and innovative thinking to find and solve issues

  • Collaborate with cross-function pears (IT, SFE/SPP, Brand team)

  • Communication and negotiation skill to convince key both external & internal stakeholders

  • Resiliency under any conditions

Experience

  • At least 10 years of commercial experience

  • Significant business experience involving internal customers

  • Medical Representative (Preferred)

CSCAN、C-SCOR、VEEVA InterAct/Align/LINK、MRポータル、BRIDGE System(マスターデータ/実消化データ)などのコマーシャル・ソリューション・システムを計画・実行・運用し、グローバル/ローカルのクロスファンクションチームとの強力なコラボレーションとパートナーシップのもと、フィールドとホームオフィスの両方で生産性と効率性を向上させる。

企業やブランドの戦略を高度に理解し、主要な業務要件に優先順位をつけて、継続的なシステムメンテナンスと機能強化を計画と実行する。

  • 明確な根拠に基づいて、ローカルの業務要件とグローバル/ローカルITとの橋渡しをする部門横断的な議論/調整をリードする。

  • SFE/SPPと協力して、戦略的エリア/テリトリープランニングに適合するよう、提供するレポートについて、優先順位を付け、簡素化する。

  • アウトソースベンダー協業・監督することにより、タイムリーかつ正確なマスターデータの設計、保守、運用(製品/価格/顧客/組織マスタ)に責任を持つ。

  • Veevaのグローバルガイダンスに沿ったVeevaの運用と保守、およびフィールドチームへのトレーニングに責任を持つ。

CE3 の開発、展開、保守、強化のための積極的なインプット/フィードバックを通じて、CE3 の開発および展開のためのコマーシャライゼーションデータの専門家としての役割を果たす。
