The GRS-CMC organization provides regulatory expertise related to CMC activities through all stages of a products lifecycle. Members of the organization develop global regulatory CMC strategies and partners with key stakeholders to execute the strategies in alignment with business priorities. The team also perform regulatory assessments for manufacturing changes, provides guidance on regulatory expectations for medical devices, oversees BSE program and provides compliance documents to support Health Authority submissions. The team also supports Medical Information to build/maintain database to address external questions regarding drug products.
The CMC Regulatory Associate Director, Biologics is responsible for content development, compilation, maintenance, and review of the Quality Module for regulatory submissions to support biologics products regarding: Clinical trial applications; New marketing applications; HA responses & background packages (including participating/leading HA meetings); and/or post-approval submissions. In this role, the GRS-CMC Associate Director, Biologics will serve as the primary interface between Global Regulatory Sciences (GRS) and Global Product and Supply (GPS). The GRS-CMC Associate Director, Biologics will assess Manufacturing Change Controls for global impact and guide technical teams on practical aspects of global change management.
Responsibilities
Represent regulatory CMC on and/or lead matrix teams for small molecule pipeline products and/or commercial products through completion of post-marketing commitments and relevant lifecycle management projects driven by research.
Independently provide strategic guidance/input related to current regulatory requirements and expectation for small molecule arketing applications, clinical trial applications for projects, and/or lifecycle changes to marketed products.
Independently manage and prioritize multiple complex projects•Interface with the Health Authorities for CMC submissions and CMC-related issues, with guidance and oversite from supervisor on complex topics.
Identify, communicate and propose resolutions to routine/complex issues
Interpret global regulations and guidance. Identify regulatory opportunity and risks.
Anticipate and communicate possible regulatory paradigm shifts
Participate in product fact finding meetings
Review and provide regulatory assessments on change controls
Prepare and manage CMC submissions for all global markets while ensuring thoroughness, completeness and timeliness, including creation and maintenance of strategy documents
Mange relationships with diverse teams
Utilize electronic systems for dossier creation and tracking
Requirements
Minimum BA/BS Degree
7-10+ years Pharmaceutical industry experience, including multi-disciplined experience, 6+ years CMC regulatory strategy.
Knowledge of CMC regulatory requirements during development and post-approval and experience with global CMC regulations for small molecule products.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical development, including drug substance, drug product and analytical methods.
Demonstrated ability to develop/maintain strong working relationships with the regulatory CMC team and cross-functional teams, participate on and/or lead multifunctional teams, handle and prioritize multiple projects and work independently.
Ability to identify, communicate and resolve complex issues.
Prepare and manage filings and ensure thoroughness, accuracy and timeliness.
Ability to interpret global regulations and guidance

Position Summary
The TAS is a critical role in our unique customer model to execute the BMS aspiration to be the BioPharma that delivers the most impactful engagement with Health Care Providers (HCPs), driving adoption of new and existing medicines for appropriate patients.
The primary role of the TAS is to drive demand for BMS medicines within their portfolio for the appropriate patients. The role builds and maintains strong professional credibility with regional thought leaders (RTLs) and community-based physicians/HCPs in private practice, medical groups practices, office staff, and other stakeholders in the patient care continuum as their primary point of contact.
The TAS liaises with other BMS functions as needed to deliver an overall higher Customer Experience (Cx) – by meeting HCP needs in a timely and scientific manner. This role will prioritize the safe and appropriate use of BMS products while also focusing on overall business results and performance objectives while exemplifying BMS values.
The TAS role is field-based. A TAS is anticipated to spend 100% of their time in the field with external customers.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Promotion
- Promotes approved indications of BMS products and the launch of KarXT (xanomeline-trospium) within a defined territory or region to meet or exceed assigned sales targets in a compliant manner.
- Creates demand for BMS medicines by articulating in a balanced manner the clinical and scientific rationale for use of products in appropriate patients.
- Engages with and continuously maintains/grows a high level of scientific expertise in all assigned products and therapeutic areas.
- Prepares and successfully implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
- Proactively uses available tools such as CE^3 (once implemented) to derive insights and to dynamically inform call plans. Provides feedback on experience using these tools to leadership to enable continuous improvement.
Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue
- Demonstrates scientific expertise and passion in using approved scientific resources and publications to present information to HCPs and ensures medical accuracy.
- Conducts in-office presentations (e.g., lunch and learns) and discusses product-related scientific information with HCPs that is consistent with label.
- Organizes external speaker programs, selecting speakers from list approved by Speakers Bureau and facilitating scheduling and logistics.
- Maintains a high level of working expertise on emerging data for approved indications.
- Engages real-time medical support through Medical on Call to reactively answer unsolicited questions and complex technical inquiries.
Cross-functional collaboration
- Proactively collaborates with other field teams to ensure the best Customer Experience (Cx) for HCPs.
- Gathers and shares relevant insights and information internally with the appropriate stakeholders to enable BMS to better serve its customers.
Complies with all laws, regulations, and policies that govern the conduct of BMS.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Advanced scientific degree and/or preferred 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience as healthcare sales / MSL / HCP / nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately and convincingly to help physicians best serve their patients.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining strong credibility with key customers, office staff, and others in the customer influence network via a customer-centric mindset and desire to create positive and differentiated Customer Experience (Cx).
- Experience in Neuropsychiatry is preferred.
- Demonstrated strong capability in account management skill sets, superior selling competencies, and proven sales performance track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively cross-functionally with a positive team mindset and can-do attitude.

The Sr. Specialist Scientist is part of the QC Analytical Technical Support (ATS) team of the Quality Control (QC) department of Celgene/BMS in Boudry, Switzerland. The Sr. Specialist Scientist acts as Business Owner for assigned QC Equipment and Computerized Systems. This role is responsible for leading equipment/systems acquisition and decommissioning activities. Provides subject matter expertise on qualification of new equipment and troubleshooting of analytical and equipment issues. This position supports the introduction of new products to the QC laboratories and owns equipment and/or systems related deviations. Additional responsibilities include performing super user activities for the laboratory computerized systems, representing QC in cross-functional meetings (e.g. multi sites system introduction/enhancement project) and participating in internal and external audits as Subject Matter Expert (SME). The Sr. Specialist Scientist will report to the Sr. Manager QC Analytical Tech Support.
Key Responsibilities
Business Owner of assigned QC Computer Systems.
- Accountable to ensure that a computer system is fit for intended use in accordance with business requirements and applicable procedures throughout the system lifecycle.
- May act as a backup for other Business Owners within the QC ATS team.
Super user of laboratory computerized systems:
- Administers user profiles and access to the systems.
- Defines requirements and performs audit trail reviews, assures adherence to data integrity principles.
- Authors instrument/system operating procedures.
- Is accountable for verification of custom calculations setup in QC software and used for analytical testing purposes.
- Performs master data management activities in QC computerized systems
- May perform and sign impact assessment of master data change requests as delegate of QC Management
Equipment and Computerized Systems Lifecycle Management
- Leads activities for acquisition, qualification, upgrade and decommissioning of analytical equipment and computerized systems.
- Develop Business Case to justify needs for new equipment.
- Works cross-functionally with the Analytical Development, Network QC, Local QC, IT, Validation Technical Services and Metrology to select, purchase, and qualify new analytical equipment for the QC laboratories.
- Owns and leads change controls.
- Leads or supports risk assessments.
- Authors, reviews, and approves validation documents as SME or System Owner and may also do so as delegate of QC Management.
- Owns and authors system operating procedures and other GMP documents.

Uses scientific and technical expertise to investigate and resolve technical issues in the laboratory.

Qualifications & Experience
Education and Experience
- BS degree in Life Science, Chemistry, or relevant scientific discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience required, preferable in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
- Scientific and practical knowledge of analytical techniques (e.g., chromatography techniques (High-performance liquid chromatography, Ultra-performance liquid chromatography, Gas chromatography), Dissolution, UV/VIS, and IR techniques).
- Previous experience of laboratory equipment qualification is preferable.
Required Competencies: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent scientific knowledge of chromatography techniques (HPLC, UPLC, GC), dissolution, Karl Fischer, and spectroscopic techniques.
- Good knowledge of analytical method transfers and analytical method validation/verification.
- Exceptional knowledge in laboratory equipment qualification principles.
- Good knowledge and/or ability to familiarize themselves quickly with new software and computerized systems (specific instrument software, Empower, LIMS).
- Advanced knowledge and interpretation of cGMP, ISO, FDA, MHRA and Pharmacopeia requirements, and good documentation practices.
- Advanced knowledge of Data Integrity principles, familiar with audit trail review requirements.
- General computer literacy including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Effective verbal communication skills, ability to interact with different levels of the organization and departments.
- Effective technical writing skills, experience writing GMP documents (procedures, protocols, plans and reports).

The Associate Director Global Delivery Excellence Data and Reporting is responsible for advancing and managing digital and process solutions to support the seamless delivery of products on a global scale and the establishment of related Data and Reporting solution for the functional area of Global Delivery.

As part of the commercial organization, the Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is a trusted clinical expert responsible for developing professional relationships and educating key Health Care Professionals (HCP) involved in the care of patients receiving BMS hematology products in a defined geography.
PLEASE NOTE: Incumbents must reside within any of the advertised geographies.
- The primary role of the CNC is to drive peer to peer interactions with customers that optimize patient outcomes by delivering end-to-end clinical exchanges that clarify the complexities of patient identification and management.
- The purpose of these interactions is to deliver a continuum of clinical education and support that address the needs of HCPs starting or continuing patients on BMS hematology medicines, optimizing patient management and duration of treatment. CNCs also educate on unmet disease needs and discuss the current treatment landscape for these patient populations. CNC interactions are aligned with on-label commercial strategies and the needs expressed by customers.
- CNCs develop relationships with hematology focused Patient Support Groups for the purpose of presenting approved presentations that address specific patient education needs identified by the group leader.
- CNCs are viewed as clinical experts by their customers for the BMS hematology portfolio and are responsible for REBLOZYL (MDS), ONUREG (AML), POMALYST & REVLIMID (MM), ABECMA & BREYANZI (CAR-T). Product responsibilities may change based on franchise and business needs.
Customer Focus
- Develop and maintain relationships with academic and community HCPs within assigned geography to provide on-label clinical and product education for BMS hematology products. The CNC will use various channels for interactions (1:1, group presentations, remote, etc.) while utilizing on-label approved marketing materials.
- Actively assess the treatment and patient management landscape by meeting with HCPs to understand their needs and current patient management processes/protocols.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using available on-label CNC resources and presentations. Effectively utilize platform skills for presenting information to HCPs and be able to respond to questions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local procedures, ethical and legal guidelines and directives.
- Consistently evaluate the impact of CNC activities in an account and plan for follow-up or next steps.
- Respond and adapt quickly to support new and ongoing educational gaps or other customer needs.
- Actively monitor CNC dashboard & account data, adjusting activities and business plans to meet goals and objectives.
- Continuously seek to increase knowledge of treatment landscape, product attributes and disease states. Actively prepare to address the educational needs of customers.
Provide Clinical Expertise
- In collaboration with sales partners, deliver on-label promotional speaker programs to HCP customers in approved out of office settings.
- In collaboration with sales partners, deliver on-label promotional in-services for HCP customers.
- Provide product demonstrations and infusion support for CAR T sites starting new patients.
- Support initial and ongoing clinical/disease area and product specific training to internal stakeholders (e.g. Commercial, Value Access & Payment).
- Participate in assigned Medical Congress activities.
- Share clinical insights and patient management experiences internally to support franchise strategy.
Commercial Planning and Execution
- Adopt account business planning approach and contribute to cross-functional business plans.
- Collaborate with peers and cross-functional partners to successfully execute Hematology franchise performance goals and metrics.
- Assist with the development of clinically meaningful CNC programs/projects in line with commercial strategies and plans.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- APP (DNP, NP), MSN, BSN with a minimum of 5 years clinical experience in a Hematology/Oncology Disease Area.
- Nurse Educator experience within the bio/pharmaceutical industry preferred
- Current active Nursing or PA licensure
- Clinical depth within Hematology and Cell Therapy including AML, Lymphoma, MDS, and Myeloma

Position Description:
Under the direction of the Area Sales Manager Hematology-Oncology, this individual is responsible to maximize the sales of our products in the region with a direct line to the Area Sales Manager (Regionaler Vertriebsleiter). The Therapeutic Area Specialist (m/f/d) implements the marketing strategy in his territory and is responsible for achieving defined quantitative and qualitative targets within an agreed expenses budget.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Scientific expert advice and support of opinion leaders as well as medical oncologists in oncology clinics, outpatient centers and office based settings.
- Responsibility for the regional sales goals and qualitative performance parameters, as agreed with line manager.
- Develop the Key Account Customers and Accounts within the responsible territory according to the product strategy
- Close cooperation and Feedback sharing with the Customer Engagement and the Operational Excellence-Manager
- Close cooperation with our Sales and Field Coach, Regional Medical Science Liaison, Regional Medical Portfolio Managers, Health Economics Experts and Key Account Managers
- Customer, market and competitive analysis for efficient territory management.
- Keep the line manager and relevant headquarter functions informed of any market changes/competitor activity which are relevant to strategy implementation and development.

Develop and maintain in depth and long-term peer-to-peer scientific relationships with external Thought Leaders based on their expressed needs to further understand and gain both insight and/or input into treatment patterns and share the insights internally as appropriate
