Position:          Associate Director, Oncology- Business Insights & Analytics (Ref: 7720)

Duties:  Evaluate, improve and develop the functional capabilities related to econometric modeling, segmentation, test & learn frameworks, customer analytics and multi-channel marketing (MCM) analytics. Lead analyses to measure channel and message effectiveness utilizing appropriate data science and statistical techniques such as regression, forecasting, pathway modeling etc. Develop and deliver the brand segmentation, design and execution of Market Mix Modeling and Test & Control analysis to measure the Return of Investment of promotional tactics and assess business impact, and real-time media measurement and optimization. Develop response models, resource allocation simulations, and pro-forma investment analysis. Implement MCM analytics delivery consistent with the organization’s growing, multi-country MCM strategy. Own all aspects of the marketing measurement / marketing mix process - managing vendor partners, reviewing model outputs to identify key insights, building compelling presentations, and delivering results to brand teams. Manage all the input data sources and data quality by creating a streamlined marketing data capture process in partnership with data strategy team and marketing agencies.

Manage a team of onsite and offshore employees to ensure round the clock delivery of analytics needs for Oncology therapy area. Ensure brand level resource allocation recommendations align with channel level activities, establishing a link between strategic choice and operational execution. Improve value to the business and our patients through deepened market understanding and streamlined engagement and collaboration with variety of stakeholders including brand marketing, forecasting, finance, market research, sales leadership. Facilitate detailed discussions to identify opportunities to refine/build capabilities and tools, including training/deployment of predictive models as well as assessment of those models post deployment. Lead and support Oncology franchise commercial analytics team by developing capabilities around cross tumor analytics, portfolio performance assessment, contextualizing market event dynamics, and harmonizing optimization approaches across supporting functions. Collaborate with finance, market research, forecasting, and engagement planning teams to diagnose key business challenges and create a commercial narrative synthesizing brand/market landscape. Drive in-line promotional strategy for healthcare practitioners (HCP) to address the identified roadblocks (trial/depth/persistency), and lead key commercial projects to ensure robust strategic planning and strong execution to drive success of the brand. Analyze customer insights, brand and market trends, & competitive response to develop differentiated HCP/Patient marketing plans which address key challenges in the disease state, capitalize on prioritized business opportunities, and accelerate growth in hyper-competitive categories. Evaluate the in-market performance of implemented strategies through a close collaboration within BI&A, conducting a broad array of analytical and diagnostics exercises such as Customer Segmentation, Subnational Claims and APLD Data Analyses, Promotion Planning & Measurement (inc. launch planning), patient journey analytics – and develop holistic data summaries to transform various modeling outputs into modular channel-level perspectives. May work remotely 2 days per week within normal commuting distance of Lawrence Township, NJ.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, or a related field plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience with skills of data analysis, multivariate statistics, predictive modeling, regression & classification, R, SQL, Python, Tableau, translation of complex analysis to business insights, social analytics, pharmaceutical sales, marketing data sets . The required skills do not need to be maintained over the full term of required experience.

Salary:   $162,605 to $219,995 / year

The starting compensation for this job is a range from $162,605 to $219,995 /year, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).

The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
