BMS Hyderabad is designed to serve as an innovation hub and strengthen our capabilities in business insights and technology, drug development and enabling functions, while drawing on the dynamic science and technology talent in the region. It underscores our commitment to expanding our global footprint and building a diverse workforce that can innovate and positively impact patients worldwide.
The office in Hyderabad, inaugurated in February 2024, is the largest BMS site outside the U.S. It houses teams equipped with a broad range of skills from data science and R&D, to clinical operations and software engineering. Additionally, it hosts various business-enabling functions.
On the business insights and technology front, the Hyderabad site is a key pillar of our global strategy and positions us to further accelerate digital innovation. We are focused on building internal capabilities that will drive our patient-centric mission and increase agility and flexibility for innovation. On the drug development front, the team is establishing capabilities that support several stages of the drug development lifecycle and driving operational efficiencies to enhance clinical trial delivery, all with the aim of bringing more medicines to more patients, faster.
