Our Responsibility
As a socially responsible company, we strive to actively improve the health of the society in which we live and work.
Country 2 Country 4 Cancer
Every year, BMS employees ride their bikes all over the world to raise money for cancer research and patient organisations.
Actions against Covid-19
To all those working tirelessly in the fight against COVID-19, you inspire us to do our part. BMS Netherlands donated to Stichting Zorg na Werk in Coronazorg (ZWIC) for their incredible work in helping health professionals. The Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation doubled that donation.
At Bristol Myers Squibb we are here to continue to support and do all we can for patients, and for those affected by the pandemic. All healthcare professionals, caregivers, volunteers and service providers are on the frontline against an invisible enemy. We are also very proud that many of our BMS employees have done volunteer work in the fight against this disease.
From the bottom of our hearts: Thank you.
BMS for Community
In 2020 and 2021, BMS colleagues around the world, their families and patients exercised, moved or volunteered for the BMS for Community initiative.
Conscientious citizenship means doing everything we can to help all around the world. Besides providing innovative medicines, we are also committed to improving healthcare, advancing scientific research and making a difference in the lives of patients and their families. Our global scope of charitable activities is administered through a variety of giving programs, each with its own focus and application procedures.
The Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation promotes health equity. We seek to improve the health outcomes of populations disproportionately affected by serious diseases by increasing health care professional knowledge, integrating medical care and local support services, and mobilising local communities to fight disease.
For us, sustainability is working towards addressing unmet medical needs, increasing access to medicines, and embracing our responsibility to care for our environment.
The HOPE programme of the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation supports children with cancer in South and West Africa.
We are committed to conducting business with the highest integrity and will continue to increase transparency so we can share information with our patients, healthcare professionals, and shareholders.
Our industry changes quickly. Healthcare policy and bioethics are always evolving and we are evolving with them. See where we stand.
