Position Summary
This position will play a central role in bringing milvexian to the US market. A skilled leader and accomplished marketer with customer focus is needed to lead the US HCP Team for milvexian, across all indications (Atrial Fibrillation (AF), Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) and Secondary Stroke Prevention (SSP)). The US HCP Lead will be responsible for driving launch preparation, commercialization planning and execution of milvexian, and ultimately brand performance upon launch. This position will report to the Vice President, US Brand Lead, milvexian.
Key Responsibilities
Lead US GTM strategic & tactical plan for milvexian for ACS, AF and SSP indications – ensuring strategic choices aligned to Marketing and Launch Excellence frameworks, and close partnership with matrix partners, Global and J&J Alliance partners
Support GTM Commercialization Model development for launch, ensuring best in class field team deployment, with connectivity to brand and launch strategy
Build the HCP marketing team for the milvexian launch, attracting, retaining and developing top talent
Manage HCP operating expense decisions to ensure proper resource utilization across A&P spend and operating expense management.
Lead the AOR relationship, including vendor assessment, ensuring the marketing team is closely managing the budget, through coaching, reconciliation and quarterly AOR/Brand Planning Meetings
Foster strong collaborative working relationships with external and internal customers
Partner with Medical Affairs and MLR Advisors to determine a path forward for launch messaging platform and professional pieces
In collaboration with Market Access organization, develop and implement comprehensive access strategy plan, consistent with brand strategy and inclusive of payer access and patient services model.
Support top-line forecasting and projection for all indications in conjunction with the Business Insights & Analytics team
Partner with WCE team to optimize Marketing Mix & Channel selection and deliver on new commercial model capabilities
Lead and mentor milvexian matrix team to communicate performance and strategy presentations to Leadership Teams
Provide commercial input to optimize milvexian US Prescribing Information
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 10 years pharmaceutical brand marketing or relevant biopharmaceutical experience required
Minimum 3 years of experience managing and developing direct reports and leading high performing teams
Depth and breadth of marketing experience in US or other markets with a track record of performance; experience taking complex scientific data and simplifying story
Prior Health Care Practitioner marketing experience with demonstrated expertise in customer focus, insight mining, message development and marketing analytics.
Experience with multi-channel marketing execution is preferred
Ability to rapidly adapt and execute plans in fast paced environment
Strong leadership skills to lead/contribute to the overall strategic planning and execution of key deliverables
Proven track record of effectively and efficiently driving performance within a matrix organization with strong organizational, interpersonal, communication skills and executive collaboration required.
Ability to develop and manage strong customer relationships
Demonstrate the capacity to grow, develop and learn from experiences
BA/BS required with MBA or advanced degree preferred
Launch experience and CV experience preferred but not required
