Position Summary

Are you looking for an opportunity to gain experience in BioPharma while gaining leadership exposure, career mentorship, and making an impact on work that matters? The 10-week internship program at Bristol Myers Squibb is the ultimate career experience!

The program includes formal and informal networking, development, and mentorship of participants with a focus on building and advancing professional skills in the BioPharma industry. The selected candidate will support the smooth implementation of Smart Labs program in Global Quality Control Operations & Analytical Sciences (GQCAS).

This full-time ten-week internship program will take place June through August of 2025. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify tasks that must be performed by the department to prepare for upcoming changes under the Smart Labs program, determine who needs to perform these tasks and define due dates.

  • Work with all functions in the department to ensure that the tasks are performed in the appropriate timelines.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Must be enrolled in a matriculated program and actively seeking a degree

  • Education/Experience/ Licenses/Certifications: Junior, Senior, or Graduate student, preferably in a scientific field

  • Strong knowledge of chemistry and biochemistry

  • Knowledge of pharmaceuticals/biopharmaceuticals and analytical chemistry is a plus

  • Project management, communication and influencing skills, strong knowledge of office applications (PowerPoint, Teams).

  • Ability to work with stakeholders across the network, build an atmosphere of trust, identify, and meet their needs, desire to work with laboratory systems

  • All candidates must be authorized to work in the US at the time of hire.  Please note that immigration or visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
