It was September of 2010 when I was first diagnosed. I couldn't imagine anything was wrong. And I just had some abnormal bleeding. And that got me to the doctor. And that's when the tumor was found. Not only was it something bad, it was something that was considered terminal. It was the first time in my life that my body had ever let me down. But the thing that really changed a lot for me is just the love of each day, just the love of life. Bristol Myers Squibb is a company that has done so much for so many people. I think what they do is amazing. When I think about it now, I almost think about it as though it happened to someone else. You almost can't believe it because it's just so incredible. |
