Global Health | Global Impact
Our vision
At the Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation, our vision is to help create a world where everyone has the opportunity to achieve their optimal health. We strive to bridge divides by empowering local communities and health systems to create lasting impact.
Our signature programs & focus areas
We are leveraging lessons from our decade of work addressing lung cancer disparities in the U.S. Through our Multinational Lung Cancer Control Program (MLCCP), we are building the capacity to better diagnose lung cancer, while we remain committed to addressing other high disease burden cancers prevalent in the countries where we are focused.
We have a steadfast commitment to be a leader in the wider pediatric community and improve global health for pediatric patients. Our work is aligned with innovative organizations, health systems and capacity-building initiatives focused on pediatric cancers, sickle cell disease and beta-thalassemia.
The Robert A. Winn Excellence in Clinical Trials Award Program addresses the priority of improving representation in clinical trials. By training the next generation of clinical trialists in the science of community engagement, we believe we can include more patients in clinical trials that match the epidemiology of the disease studied. Research areas include cancer, cardiovascular disease and neuropsychiatry.
