Bristol-Myers Squibb’s Commitment to Ensuring Access to HIV/AIDS Medicine in the U.S.
For the last 20 years, Bristol-Myers Squibb has worked collaboratively with the HIV/AIDS community to help meet the needs of people living with HIV and AIDS. We are committed to helping ensure that people living with HIV and AIDS have access to our medicines.
We are proud to offer people living with HIV/AIDS multiple ways to obtain our medicines at reduced or no cost to the patient through our Bristol-Myers Squibb “Access Virology” program. We work directly with patients in need of assistance to evaluate their eligibility for multiple prescription assistance programs that we offer, including:
In addition to our Access Virology programs, we also participate in two industry access programs:
- Partnership for Prescription Assistance and Together Rx Access®:
- Bristol-Myers Squibb participates in the innovative Partnership for Prescription Assistance program, which helps connect patients without prescription drug coverage to both public and private patient assistance programs
- Together Rx Access® also offers eligible patients discounts for prescription medicines
For information on the Partnership for Prescription Assistance, visit www.PPARx.org or call 888-4PPA-NOW (888-477-2669).

We maintain an open dialogue with the HIV/AIDS community about Bristol-Myers Squibb’s access programs. Throughout the years, we have worked with, listened to, and learned from the community to enhance our programs to help patients access our medicines. As we have been for over 20 years, we remain committed to helping meet the needs of people living with HIV and AIDS – from developing medicines, to supporting disease education efforts and clinical research, and to improving access to medicines. We will not waver from that commitment.
